1948

AIESEC was founded in 1948 after World War 2, when seven young people from seven different countries came together with the dream of creating intercultural interaction in the world. Today, AIESEC has become the largest student organization in the world as an institution that provides both development and international internship opportunities to its members thanks to seven young people hoping to change the world with one person and one internship at the same time.

1954

In 1954 the installation was realized in Turkey by Nihat Gökyiğit, Nejat Eczacıbaşı and Ali Osmanoğlu.

1977

In 1977, AIESEC started to be represented in 50 different countries on six continents, and 40,000 young people in the World had the opportunity to gain an experience to develop their leadership.

2010

For the first time in 2010, 10.000 leadership opportunities were offered within a year. So far, the experience provided by young people to young people has reached 230,000 people. AIESEC has no political affiliation or affiliation with any political party. It advises the United Nations and UNESCO.

2015

In 2015, AIESEC aims to ensure the participation of young people in order to announce Sustainable Development Goals to the World in cooperation with the United Nations. With this step, AIESEC's contribution to youth and the World has become clearer than ever.
